Hello, nice talking to you, and could you hint me where you sourced d:Q20894968, a Japanese painter active between 1555-1558? I am bilingual in English/Japanese, and wish to add Japanese script to that person's name. I would be happy to add CiNii ID or any such data. Thank you for your time to answer my question in advance, ----Omotecho (talk) 13:49, 4 July 2018 (UTC)

Hello @Omotecho,
In fact, in the project Wikidata:WikiProject_sum_of_all_paintings, this person was needed to author Q20879796.
I used the only possible source I had : https://collections.lacma.org/node/190191 - I just added this source to each statement on Q20894968. But I have no more info. In fact the only "Sekkan" painter I found on the web was Sakurai Sekkan (1715-1790) https://books.google.fr/books?id=TMCHpmDXUeIC&pg=PA65&lpg=PA65
I'm sorry I can't help you better...
Hello, @Hsarrazin, yes, it is helpful to know that there is a painting at LA County Museum of Arts by this artist. I might ask someone fluent in reading brush calligraphy to read me the person's name on the ox painting so that I could add Japanese script to his name on wikidata. Thank you indeed for crisp reply. Best,
