For information: SCIdude. There's a big problem with these two items, because most sources and databases does not distinguish the two concepts, just like in Wikipedia articles are about SeS2, but in the text there is an information that the structure is not SeS2 and in fact the substance used is a mixture of different compounds.

So there the problem: identifiers like InChI, SMILES etc. are surely for SeS2, but most entries in databases are for the mixture even though InChI, SMILES etc. are for SeS2. Wostr (talk) 18:25, 15 November 2019 (UTC) PS Don't know how to properly distinguish the two concepts and assign some of the external identifiers to the proper item (some ids are definitely for mixture, some for SeS2, but most combines both concepts). Yes, I noticed that. I just couldn't finish my work on these two yesterday. --SCIdude (talk) 07:06, 16 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Maybe some identifiers have to be present in both items and in one the rank should be set to deprecated with proper reason for deprecation? I'm not sure, how to do this... Wostr (talk) 13:10, 16 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that is the way to do it. --SCIdude (talk) 13:58, 16 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
