Incorrect redirect from English[edit]
The link from the English language Wikipedia article on Solzhenitsyn to Russian, I get "Бирлик (Байдибекский район)", which appears wrong to me. However, if I go first to German and then to Russian, I get "Солженицын, Александр Исаевич", with a photo that looks to me like the ones I see elsewhere of Soltzhenitsyn.
In more detail, I suggest you visit https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aleksandr_Solzhenitsyn and click "Русский". On 2018-01-06T04:18:17 UTC, that gave me me https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%91%D0%B8%D1%80%D0%BB%D0%B8%D0%BA_(%D0%91%D0%B0%D0%B9%D0%B4%D0%B8%D0%B1%D0%B5%D0%BA%D1%81%D0%BA%D0%B8%D0%B9_%D1%80%D0%B0%D0%B9%D0%BE%D0%BD), which appears completely wrong to me: I do not know Russian, but I have some vague familiarity with Cyrillic. The name seems wrong, there is no picture, and the one date I found was 2009, which I did NOT see in the article on Solzhenitsyn.
If however I go first to the Deutsch https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_Issajewitsch_Solschenizyn and then click "Русский", I get https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%A1%D0%BE%D0%BB%D0%B6%D0%B5%D0%BD%D0%B8%D1%86%D1%8B%D0%BD,_%D0%90%D0%BB%D0%B5%D0%BA%D1%81%D0%B0%D0%BD%D0%B4%D1%80_%D0%98%D1%81%D0%B0%D0%B5%D0%B2%D0%B8%D1%87. The lead picture matches one I saw elsewhere, and it included dates that seemed to match dates I saw elsewhere.
