What is the name of "the materials laid above the mattress of a bed or human body for hygiene, warmth, to protect, and for decorative effect" --Fractaler (talk) 08:23, 5 January 2018 (UTC)
Scope[edit]
A Danish word "sengetøj" usually only includes the linens on the bed (below the person), the pillow cover and the dyvet cover. The English "bedding" seems to encompass dyvets and pillows. Is this correct? I might want to create a new subcategorized item to better cover the Danish concept. I am wondering what semantics words in other language have? — Finn Årup Nielsen (fnielsen) (talk) 09:49, 5 March 2020 (UTC)
