I do not see, that intellectual work (Q15621286) is subclass of (P279) of artificial physical object (Q15222213), as intellectual work (Q15621286) comprising non physical works is more general.--Oursana (talk) 22:53, 2 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. I'll put it directly under entity unless someone can think of a good parent-class for it. --Arctic.gnome (talk) 04:39, 3 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
… and I removed subclass of (P279) <artificial physical object (Q15222213)> once again. To all: Please do not add it! Thanks, --Marsupium (talk) 17:58, 25 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Process or product?

[edit]

"Work" is both the process and the end result, in English. Currently the labels/description are a mix of the two. We must decide which one it is, and remove erroneous labels/descriptions. In particular, why was this item created in the first place? Maybe as a superclass for creative work (Q17537576) which is "distinct artistic creation such as artwork, literature, music, and paintings" (which is ambiguous too)? Cheers! Agree. There is for "work of intellect", "work of brain" 1) intellectual work (mental process (Q2626870)) and 2) intellectual work as result ("neuro-artificial object (Q15401930)") of this neuro-process: idea (Q131841), concept (Q151885), mental representation (Q2145290) (is representation (Q1272626) in the brain). --Fractaler (talk) 09:33, 19 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Syced: I would say that "work as a result" corresponds to work (Q386724). --Infovarius (talk) 11:07, 22 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
