[edit]@Infovarius: "A Subclass of B" means: Every element of A is an element of B. Thus, "fall subclass of cause of death" means: Every fall is also a cause of death. That's wrong. There are many falls which are no cause of death. Of course, there are some falls, which leads to death. Yet, this does not mean it's a subclass. --Eulenspiegel1 (talk) 23:30, 31 January 2019 (UTC)
- @Eulenspiegel1: I agree with your argument. But this item is heavily used as a value of cause of death (P509) and it looks quite natural. What should we do to remove constraint violation? Another option is to set P31 = Q1931388. This would not contradict subclass ideology. --Infovarius (talk) 18:26, 2 February 2019 (UTC)
- Yes, I think, "instance of" (P31) is slightly better than "subclass of". --Eulenspiegel1 (talk) 00:11, 4 February 2019 (UTC)
Cause of death?
[edit]We now have falling from height (Q43381944), so surely this shouldn't be instance of (P31)cause of death (Q1931388) anymore? Deryck Chan (talk) 12:15, 30 January 2020 (UTC)
