regular expression[edit]

I’ve just updated the regular expression for allowed values; for the record, the 16 in there is the length of the longest “language code”, determined through the following command:

$ curl -s 'https://www.wikidata.org/w/api.php?action=sitematrix&format=json&formatversion=2' | jq -r '.sitematrix | .. | .url? | strings' | sed 's|https://||; s/\..*//' | awk '{ print length($0), $0 }' | sort -rn | head

(Even if you discount project wikis like that, the previous 5 would not have been long enough for e. g. be-tarask.) --Lucas Werkmeister (talk) 16:55, 24 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Qualifier[edit]

Prompted by a suggestion in Wikidata:Property proposal/see talk page discussion at#Discussion a few years ago, I have eventually added as qualifier (Q54828449) to the property scope constraint (Q53869507). The idea is to make the discussion link more visible, especially in connection with deprecated claims and the rather terse reason for deprecated rank (P2241) given. --SM5POR (talk) 15:17, 31 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No, this is just a reference rather than a qualifier. Midleading (talk) 12:54, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
