groups?

Can this property be used to record Zotero IDs for groups? eg wikimedia_projekte__ihre_anwendung_in_den_informationswissenschaften. Thanks. -- Oa01 (talk) 08:56, 3 April 2022 (UTC)

@Mike Peel: Hello! In 2022 you proposed the Zotero ID property . Do you have an opinion on whether or not the existing property (P10557) can be used for groups (in addition to people)? I'd be grateful for your input. Thank you! -- Oa01 (talk) 08:46, 17 March 2023 (UTC)

@Oa01: It might be better to have a separate property for that, since it has a different URL type - of https://www.zotero.org/groups/2354611 you ideally want to have a formatter URL of https://www.zotero.org/groups/$1 and store the ID of 2354611, but you could also just store the ID of groups/2354611 in this property. I'd suggest proposing a new property and see what people there think, or you could just go ahead and use this property and we could think about splitting it later, as you prefer. Thanks.
