Eurodyne 2[edit]
RfP scheduled to end after 16 December 2015 22:14 (UTC)
- Eurodyne (talk • contribs • new items • new lexemes • SUL • Block log • User rights log • User rights • xtools)
I am an active user with over 17k edits (about 13k more than I had last RFA) with numerous RFD requests. I often request deletion on empty items and understand that a duplicate items need to be merged, and empty ones need to be deleted. I also occasionally participate in property creation and watch recent changes for un constructive edits. eurodyne (talk) 22:14, 9 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

- Support Mbch331 (talk) 22:22, 9 December 2015 (UTC) See the name a lot on RfD and don't have any complaints there. And the user indeed knows the basic rules when to merge and when to delete. Mbch331 (talk) 22:22, 9 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- @Mbch331: it's a support, right? --Stryn (talk) 15:01, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Indeed. Added a {{s}} so it's more clear. Mbch331 (talk) 15:04, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- @Mbch331: it's a support, right? --Stryn (talk) 15:01, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Strong oppose Nope, same as last time. No evidence to suggest otherwise; user has been attempting hat collection on IRC too (i.e. requesting operator rights in various channels).--Jasper Deng (talk) 06:25, 10 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Without entering an opinion yet, and understanding that past history issues are not trivial: hat collection per se is not enough reason to say no. StevenJ81 (talk) 13:58, 10 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- It is. Marcus Cyron (talk) 15:47, 10 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

- Support Very active on RfD Hakan·IST 18:05, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Support, while I can agree Jasper Deng's concerns about hat collecting, I don't think that it's actually so huge problem that I could not support Eurodyne's adminship on Wikidata. I have seen him doing good work on Wikidata and I hope he can help here with deletions and other administrative things. --Stryn (talk) 19:33, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Neutral I can see that Eurodyne has been constantly active and is doing valuable work, also we certainly lack administrators in certain areas. But I also remember the past issues and think that we still need to take these into account. Overall I'm neutral on this one, as I can't really convince myself to support yet, but I also don't see a compelling reason for not giving Eurodyne the advanced rights he needs. - Hoo man (talk) 22:53, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Support per Stryn. -- Wagino 20100516 (talk) 01:15, 12 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Support His last RFA was almost a year ago and he has been consistently active since. I also do not see anything in their behavior to make me oppose. Reguyla (talk) 01:47, 12 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Support - more help is always welcome and, AFAICS, has done a good work. Matiia (talk) 02:16, 12 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Support Jasper raises a very good point, but it does not give me enough reason to oppose. I can see that Eurodyne would make a good use of the tools if given to him. Jianhui67 talk★contribs 02:21, 12 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose per Jasper Deng. --Steinsplitter (talk) 09:53, 12 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Going through the user's deletion requests, I can just see the potential to be a good admin. Most of us have some issues in the past but I believe important thing is what we've learnt from those past activities. Hopefully user will be a good with this hat and btw, it's a support. ~ Nahid Talk 18:11, 12 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose There are less than 500 RfDs since your last nomination. I think the active admins do not really need support in this area. But my main point is: I saw you never in any relevant discussion around WD. --Succu (talk) 18:35, 12 December 2015 (UTC)
PS: This unnecessary edit says a lot about you.[reply]- If I did it, what would it say about me? (It is not unnecessary.) Matěj Suchánek (talk) 18:53, 12 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- I'm sorry. I did not recognised this odd behavior in the diff. A better comment had helped. --Succu (talk) 19:00, 12 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

- Support largely per Stryn. --Rschen7754 19:52, 12 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Neutral the whole sockmaster part makes me feel uncomfortable. Multichill (talk) 20:19, 12 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Support per Stryn. --Grind24 (talk) 21:44, 12 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Support, I think he will become a administrator that is searching for stuff that needs to be deleted instead of waiting for people that request deletion for them. There is a huge need for people like that. We have talk pages if something happens, no need to talk about the past every time. Sjoerd de Bruin (talk) 18:24, 13 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Neutral Not sure. I'm ok with it, but also nervous. StevenJ81 (talk) 16:16, 14 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Support, per Stryn, I think he won't misuse the rights.--Syum90 (talk) 16:22, 16 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Weak oppose derp, per JD and succu. — Revi 16:26, 16 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Comments[edit]
What did you better since your first request? --Succu (talk) 22:39, 9 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Were there problems directly related to Wikidata? Not really. Were there other cross wiki concerns? Yes. I've waited more than "a couple of months", as mentioned in my past request and feel I have matured a lot more. I've also had all but one sanction removed here on enwiki and have been in good standing on all wikis. eurodyne (talk) 05:28, 10 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Succu, This edit, was actually to fix the count of the votes. I'm not sure how that is 'unnecessary' eurodyne (talk) 18:54, 12 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- I´m sorry about my mistake. But a response to my concerns could be clarifying. --Succu (talk) 22:07, 12 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
