Label

The proposal for the property named this "appears in the .. ". Using just "heritage monument list" only leads to confusion with list of monuments (P1456), thus I changed to the label to one that is closer to what was actually proposed and supported by the community.

Exploring alternatives before using this

Before using this property for moments in specific countries, I think it one should attempt to explore alternatives. If there are none, the property can be used. To ensure this, I think we should add a country (P17) constraint. For now, Latvia (Q211) should can probably use this property.

Should Germany use this?

If the lists in Germany are strictly made by municipality, I'm not sure why this would be needed. Looking at items like Q46119040, it appears that this further duplicates described at URL (P973).

I think, you are right, and for Germany the property is kind of a duplicate list of monuments (P1456). (I kind of disable the Latvia (Q211) constraint because we are near the 50% of violation.) --Fralambert (talk) 15:15, 5 January 2018 (UTC)

heritage designation (P1435) required

I added a new constraint to ensure that this items also have P1435. P1435 would include details about the official heritage status and registry this is mentioned in.
