Define LD4 in page intro[edit]

Hi! I'm wondering if someone could add a description of the "LD4" name into the page intro, in order to clarify it for newcomers to the title who might be confused. (I keep initially reading it akin to w:W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) and thus trying to guess what "LDDDD" might stand for, for a few seconds, before I (as a native-English speaker) remember the alternative usage of '4'!)

I'm assuming that it stands for "Linked Data For [...]", but I can't find a confirmation of that in the pages here nor at the first relevant search-engine result (which also appears to be un-linked here, and perhaps should be added?) of https://sites.google.com/stanford.edu/ld4-community-site/home -- Perhaps the definition could also mention its relation to the other projects I see mentioned in some places, LD4L and LD4P. (i.e. maybe one of those was the original which led to the others?).

Aha! I've found confirmation and details at https://sites.google.com/stanford.edu/ld4-community-site/affinity-and-working-groups - Maybe this would be a good intro:

LD4 ("Linked Data For [...]") is a group of related projects "for linked data practitioners to foster broad adoption and sustained support of linked data efforts in libraries".[1]

Hope that helps. Quiddity (talk) 19:14, 24 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
