What do we have to do with similar units[edit]
Sometimes there are units with different labels but equivalent concepts. Examples:
- "Siemens per meter" is equal to "ampere per volt meter"
- "gram per cubic centimetre" is equal to "gram per milliliter"
- tonne (Q191118) is equal to megagram (Q11776930)
Do we have to create different items or do we have to use one item with different aliases ? Snipre (talk) 20:50, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
Simpler layout[edit]
Am I alone to find that this table layout is somewhat complex to read and use? I suggest to use instead a mix of titles and tables like:
- Time
Table of time units related to properties that use them
- Length
same with length units
and so on
We could also use the structure used in Wikidata:Requests_for_comment/Dimensions_and_units_for_the_quantity_datatype. --Djiboun (talk) 21:43, 6 October 2015 (UTC)
Units in plural?[edit]
I just noticed that units seem to be displayed in singular form, like 50 second (instead of 50 seconds). Is that sometging that will be fixed, or that can be modified?
