Hi. Thank you again for writing this. I'm wondering if you could add a few more details, especially in the section #Seed group of participants? We want to be able to verify that numerous people are interested in taking part in this, over a long time-span. Thanks again for your interest in these projects. We will slowly be building up lists of things that need your help the most. At the moment, the priorities are:

  • to encourage/help more volunteers to add content into the Lexeme namespace. I recommend that you request support for Wikidata Lexeme Forms for Igbo at Wikidata Lexeme Forms#Language support, it's a tool used to easily create a Lexeme with a set of Forms
  • to assist with translating the more stable parts of the Lexeme and Wikidata documentation pages
  • to create Igbo language subpage(s) at Lexicographical data/Documentation/Languages

Please let us know how we can help you with any of those tasks, preferably at either Wikidata talk:Lexicographical data/Focus languages or at Wikidata talk:Lexicographical data so that anyone can see/help with the questions. Thanks again!

Add Igbo language Labels to Wikidata Properties

Hello there!
Many thanks for your involvement with this project.

In addition to working on the list in our previous communication about things that need your help the most, we would like to ask your help again -- this time to add Igbo language labels to Wikidata properties. There are currently A LOT of Wikidata properties and that can be overwhelming :)

This list of the top 100 properties would be a great place to start. I suggest you take a look at those first. Also, you may want to place less priority on translating External identifiers. WDProp is one tool I find very useful to get an overview of what labels are missing.

If you encounter any challenges or need help with anything, please do not hesitate to ask.

Hi Mohammed Sadat (WMDE), I don't know how to do any of those. Could you please put me through? We're planning an edit a thon for lexemes next weekend and I would like to sort this out so we don't complicate it by adding more.
