  • Abstract:

Wikisource has integrated a new feature to automate the process of inputting data needed for book descriptions. This has significantly reduced the time it takes to add new books to the site and improved the quality of the descriptions. We believe that this feature is a valuable addition to Wikisource and hope that other Wikisources will adopt it in the future.

  • Description:

Wikisource is a free online library of public domain books. The site allows users to correct typos and other errors in the text, but the process of inputting the data needed for the description of each book is time-consuming.

A new feature has been integrated into a few Wikisources, including the Indonesian Wikisource, that automates this process. This has significantly reduced the time it takes to add new books to the site and has also improved the quality of the descriptions.

In this presentation, I will share our experience of integrating this feature into the Indonesian Wikisource, and discuss the benefits it has brought. We believe that the new feature has been a valuable addition to the Indonesian Wikisource, and we hope that other Wikisources will adopt it in the future. We also want to propose or asking for idea for community wishlist to be added for a new feature in wikisource
