All Wikimedia Affiliates from Latin America and the Caribbean, extended to non-regional groups that work in/with Latin America and the Caribbean communities, are welcome to submit proposals for the Grant!
The total amount will be provided to the Affiliates through Wiki Movimento Brasil. Applicants will be responsible for delivering food vouchers and other services/products (such as data packages, childcare etc.) for the participants of their online events from the providers specified in their application. These services/products can be purchased through Affiliates or the WMB, depending on the proposal.
Affiliates are expected to return any amount unused during the event. It is worth noting that international transfers can be very bureaucratic and expensive, so we encourage you to be very specific in calculating costs to avoid this situation.
All the Affiliates recipients are required to:
- Sign a specific agreement with Wiki Movimento Brasil to make the money transfer possible.
- Provide valid receipts for all the costs anticipated in their application.
- Develop their projects between September 22nd and October 24th.
- Fill out an on-wiki report describing their events and achievements and send their receipts via email to Wiki Movimento Brasil by October 28th.
- Return unused resources to Wiki Movimento Brasil with justifications.
- Receivers and their events' participants will be expected to join a designated session at WikidataCon 2021, on October 29th, to exchange experiences and information about their events!
