Wikidata:WikiProject Wikidata subsets
This wikiproject - Wikidata subsets - aims at creating workflows to create subsets of interest from Wikidata. As a scopeless knowledge graph, wikidata captures content from a myriad of fields. This is one of the great selling points of wikidata, but also poses some challenges. The constant increase in volume introduces performance issues, results from yesterday might be different a day later etc. We believe that the possibility to create stable snapshots of Wikidata or subset of Wikidata could increase the usability of Wikidata. In the last years, during various events, some great tools, prototypes workflows have been developed or envisioned. This Wikiprojects aims at consolidating these efforts and work towards a stable sollutions to create and host snapshots of Wikidata.
