This is the start of describing the schema we are developing for California law enforcement agencies.

Schema for Law Enforcement Agency[edit]

Label: the name of the law enforcement agency e.g. "Los Angeles Police Department"

Alias: if the LEA is known by another familiar or common name e.g. "LAPD"

Description: "POST Participating California Law Enforcement Agency" because these are LEAs based on the list posted at https://post.ca.gov/le-agencies. "POST" refers to participation in the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training.
