A project collecting and describing economic elites in modern societies. Economic elites are in this project defined as individuals that head large organizations, most often corporations, that are of indisputable importance to the economic development of their respective countries. These could be the CEO's and chairpersons of the largest corporations, the owners of the largest fortunes, the CEO's of public companies, public officials leading the relevant bureaucratic institutions, such as the Ministry of Finance or the National bank.

The project aims to collect basic demographic and biographical data along with ID's to the relevant databases. Emphasis is on gender, education and career.

The project is part of a network of social scientists from universities across the globe.
