Motivation[edit]
There is confusion between watercourse lenght and river system's lenght. The watercourse lenght is the distance between the mouth and the principal source (watercourse item), the river system's lenght is the the absolute farthest upstream point in the entire river basin (drainage bassin item).--Yanik B 13:24, 23 August 2022 (UTC)
Discussion[edit]
Since this property is supposed to be applied to items of type drainage basin (Q166620) I think length (P2043) fills this role perfectly. It is not the same thing as a watercourse (Q355304) anyway. /ℇsquilo 14:50, 20 September 2022 (UTC)
- Weak oppose I agree. It seems like the existing length (P2043) property should be used. — The Erinaceous One 🦔 09:34, 30 September 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose use length (P2043). ChristianKl ❪✉❫ 12:05, 28 November 2022 (UTC)
