Motivation[edit]

The Library of Congress Linked Data Service provides identifiers and URIs for providers (publishers, distributors, etc.) found in their bibliographic descriptions. Multiple identifiers for the same entity are common, because the name of the provider may be found in various forms in their bibliographic records.
