Motivation[edit]
Daijisen is a Japanese dictionary published by Shogakukan. goo dictionary provides its digital version. Other websites such as Weblio and Kotobank provide it, but they don't provide the unique ID and mix the homographs. Wiktionary uses Kotobank for a source (Template:R:Digital-Daijisen (Q111128074)). Info I think it would be good to have a property for this. However, I'm not sure whether the value should be 2645 as proposed, or 明く instead. There is currently a discussion in Project Chat to work out whether the URL slug should be captured as the external identifier or whether it should be a persistent ID, and how the two fit together. There is a difference of opinion, but it would be good to come to a consensus to ensure consistency across properties. --Yirba (talk) 21:45, 14 February 2023 (UTC)
