Motivation[edit]
As seen in P6053 (a similar property for another species file ID), multiple species file ID properties exist. These help to flesh out taxonbars on Wikipedia and in many cases are the most comprehensive taxonomic data overviews available and are useful to understand how taxonomy has changed over time. My apologies for making a complete mess of this. I know what I want, but completing the Property proposal was difficult because I am not yet fluent in Wikidata-ese. I posted this under Natural Science so I obviously did something wrong in creation and needed to post again under Generic so that it didn't show as untranscluded.
Support The value for Represents is not correct. It should be the Q item for the Lygaeoidea Species File, which should be created if it doesn't already exist. The same Q item would be used for applicable 'stated' in value. UWashPrincipalCataloger (talk) 01:19, 9 December 2022 (UTC)
