Regarding Claims on number of recoveries on 2020 COVID-19 pandemic in Assam (Q89272464)[edit]

Hi, I have noticed that while updating recoveries on 2020 COVID-19 pandemic in Assam (Q89272464) you have added some extra cases in these claims -

  • For Point of time - 21 May 2020 you have claimed 57 in no. of recoveries here but as per cited reference it is 54.
  • For Point of time - 20 May 2020 you have claimed 51 in no. of recoveries here but as per cited reference it is 48.
  • For Point of time - 15 may 2020 you have claimed 43 in no. of recoveries here but as per cited source it is 43.

Would you mind to explain these changes before changing the claims as you did for all the above three when i corrected them as per cited reference. - Mayankj429 (talk) 14:02, 21 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You have to include here both recoveries plus migrations, otherwise the active cases will not match with the official active cases as per Assam Covid19 Advisory website, see the wiki page of this, you will see in the recoveries option, I have added a note that '3 migrations are also included here', same thing is included in Covid19 India wiki article too. Ok i understand the concern of mismatch due to The Subtracting of Total - Deaths - Recoveries Auto Fetch code for No. Of Active Cases on Wikipedia Article for the state, but even state dashboard and MOHFW doesn't mention this in the recoveries. For Problem of active cases i would suggest you to remove the fetch code only for Active cases on the wikipedia article and update them manually, you can add note for migrated cases against it. Tagging Adithyak1997 and Gnoeee to take note of this problem.- Mayankj429 (talk) 14:24, 21 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know whether my answer is complete. If incomplete, please ping me. The number of persons migrated means that they are currently not under treatment in our country/district. So, they are considered as recovered. So, the recovery count of 21 May needs to be 57. Same in other cases too. Since you have pinged Gnoeee too, I think you can wait for his response too. Adithyak1997 Here the migrated cases are shifted likely to other state otherwise if it had left country, MoHFW wouldn't be showing migrated case as 1, same as this himachal pradesh have 4 migrated case, if we add them all to recovered than it will lead to false recoveries, i think it would be better if Active cases are manually updated on wikipedia in such cases and adding a note against it. - Mayankj429 (talk) 16:04, 21 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

And everytime I add recoveries, I don't add official website as reference, I always add other where no. of migrations is clearly mentioned and in official website the migrations though not mentioned but it clearly reflects in the active cases Goswami666 (talk) 15:07, 21 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding No. of Clinical Tests on 2020 COVID-19 pandemic in Assam (Q89272464)[edit]

Hi @Goswami666:, firstly thanks for constantly updating 2020 COVID-19 pandemic in Assam (Q89272464). I have small request that whenever you update the Cases, recoveries and deaths, could you also add No. of Clinical tests from bulletin published by NHM Assam on Fb/twitter (If they had published on that day, as i know they sometimes don't publish it). Keep the good work up. Mayankj429 (talk) 15:23, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
