I think this is pretty clearly written, thanks. Some comments:

  • I would drop the "Free Culture" reference - too generic and it's not a term I've seen widely used on wikidata or elsewhere
  • I thought "Top of the page" was a confusing label under Item - at first I thought it would be a link back to the top of the glossary page, and then it just looked like a mistake. I think using the same "Labels, ID, Description and Aliases" title you do for Property would be clearer.
  • Aren't the "number" datatypes now referred to as "quantity"?
  • How about adding definitions of "class" and the meaning of "subclass" and "instance of" under Specialist terms, with links to the Help: Generic Membership Properties page?

Good suggestions. Thanks. Joe Filceolaire (talk) 00:04, 3 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Your changes look great, nicely done. Thinking on it, it's probably better for Help:Basic membership properties to link to the glossary rather than vice versa. ArthurPSmith (talk) 16:09, 3 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback[edit]

Ranks: Normal and preferred ranks should be explained just as well as the depreciated rank. For an user that would stumble upon an item with properties with an normal or preferred rank, the current explanation would tell him very little.

Multiple language projects: There is a spelling error under this section - "multiple languagel projects". The bold letter should not be there.

Language links: Lets kill the term language links - these things are only called sitelinks in the wikibase extension (the wikidata extension). Mentioning language links and sitelinks only creates confusion.

Consider using italics rather than bold. For me having constant bold face makes it more difficult to read and also more difficult to find what I am looking for. --Snaevar (talk) 15:18, 24 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Translation[edit]

Wikidata:Glossary looks rather different now and page is only kept for reference. I removed all translation tags from main page to remove it from the list of translation requests. Jagulin (talk) 13:07, 30 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
