Misunderstanding[edit]
Hello! When I restored the previous version, I said that there were no typos. The problem was not in the “grammatical error” itself, but in your version of the German description. - There never was an error in my German description. It was and it is just fine. Your "der neu Konsolengeneration" did not make sense at all and it was not very smart to revert to this version. This text is shown to all visitors of the mobile version of the German Wikipedia. Your new version "der nächsten Konsolengeneration" is right at the moment, but will be false in the future. So, I'll revert it to my version. This corresponds with Q10680 (PS2, "der sechsten Konsolengeneration" = "the sixth console generation"), Q10683 (PS3, "der siebten Konsolengeneration" = "the seventh console generation") and Q5014725 (PS4, "der achten Konsolengeneration" = "the eighth console generation"). -- Aka (talk) 17:09, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
- Since you have done today already 3 undos (see 1, 2, 3), you crossed the line of edit warring, so please stop immediately undoing the edits to prevent the consequences! Secondly, you placed this specific console model in the “ninth generation” (neunten Konsolengeneration), which is completely wrong to say right now, since the developer himself (see here in German language) and any other authoritative source declares PS5 like only "new or next-generation", so please provide reliable sources to confirm that this specific model of the console is exactly the ninth generation. Your colleague Maxeto0910 was the person who done this mess to all items, this is his mistake (example). At the moment, I have corrected the German description to neutral version to avoid misunderstanding. And please stop undoing the edits, since you are warned. Regards. - I agree with this neutral version. Ich frage mich aber weiterhin, wie gut dein Deutsch ist, weil du dir zutraust, eine mit "typo" markierte Änderung zurück auf die grammatikalisch eindeutig falsche Version zu setzen. Mit Editwars bin ich vertraut - ich bin seit 15 Jahren Admin in der deutschsprachigen Wikipedia. Dennoch kann die falsche Version ja nicht stehen bleiben und zumindest die mit "der neu" war eindeutig falsch. Und nun? Google Translate? ;-) -- Gruß, Aka (talk) 17:38, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
- As I mentioned before, that was my mistake here and I apologize for that, however this description changed by user Maxeto0910 was incorrect version as well. Therefore, in order to avoid misunderstanding and resolve disagreements, the best solution here was to change description to the neutral version without unnecessary undo edits. That's it. Regards.
