Progress as of 23 June.

• All monuments have their Wiki Loves Monuments ID created in a spreadsheet.
• Monuments for 12 counties are imported to Wikidata: Carlow, Cavan, Clare, Cork, Donegal, Galway, Kerry, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Leitrim, Limerick. See [1] for daily updated list of monuments.
• Two Wikidata properties related to Irish heritage registers are approved and created:
  • Irish Sites and Monuments Record ID (P4057)
  • Irish National Monument ID (P4059)
• One property is still pending:
  • Wikidata:Property proposal/Irish National Inventory of Architectural Heritage ID

• Monuments for all 26 counties are imported to Wikidata. They can be seen here.
• Three Wikidata properties related to Irish heritage registers are approved and created:
  • Irish Sites and Monuments Record ID (P4057)
  • Irish National Monument ID (P4059)
  • Irish National Inventory of Architectural Heritage ID (P4088)

Notes:

• Some monuments listed in source spreadsheet were duplicated.
• Lots of monuments have property located in the administrative territorial entity (P131) set as county. Generally more precise location is recommended as value, but it requires to import all townlands. At some point it should be considered.
• The coordinate location (P625) of some monuments is not highly precise. It will be a good idea to ask community to take a look at their county, so we can remove errors before start of WLM.
• Current list has high potential for further improvements like adding more data and references. Great starting point for wikidatathon or other wiki-meeting.
