I am a graduate of Electronic and Computer Engineering from Lagos State University, also holding membership in the prestigious Nigerian Society of Engineers. As the visionary Founder of City Initiative, a non-governmental organization committed to tech advocacy, he focuses on empowering youths and secondary school leavers (SS2 and SS3).
Under his astute leadership, City Initiative has achieved remarkable milestones, impacting over 1000 students through school sensitization campaigns and equipping more than 100 individuals with vital digital skills such as graphic design, UI/UX design, web development, and photography.
Agbelega and his dedicated team are actively fostering a dynamic tech community through their annual TechGeek Hangout.
In 2023, Agbelega was appointed State President for Digital Onboarder CDS, Anambra State, affiliated with Mindthe_gap. His leadership saw the successful establishment of CDS units across several local government areas in Anambra, as well as the inauguration of the maiden Leadership Workshop and a school outreach project that reached thousands of students.
With an unwavering commitment to driving national development through tech advocacy, Agbelega continues to leave an indelible mark on the landscape of technology and education in Nigeria.
