Ensio Seppänen[edit]

Kauko Ensio Seppänen (September 7, 1924 in Kemi - June 28, 2008) Kemi was a Finnish sculptor and professor (1978). He sculpted total of 127 public sculptures. Already in 1984 Seppänen had made more public sculptures than any other in Finland: "Sculptor Ensio Seppänen, is a Finnish record man" headline in Helsingin Sanomat on September 7 1984. Seppänen a few artists who are unable to provide for themselves and their families with art. He was granted an artist's pension in 1985. Mr Seppänen's parents were a carpenter Kaarlo Seppänen and Martha Seppänen, os Järvinen. Married since 1958 was Tyyne Seppänen. They have two children, Timo and Keijo.

Production

Seppänen sculptures are cast in bronze and granite in various ways worked and stainless steel welding formatted.
