I noticed another duplicate on ELWP: w:el:Ακεσαμενός and w:el:Ακασαμενός, coul you help me merge it? As far as I know there is only one Akesamenos and he's the father of Periboia; not too sure where that claim of him beeing a son of Poseidon might come from.

After a little research I have no doubt that Ακασαμενός and Ακεσαμενός are the same person. So the two articles have to be merged.
In the article w:el:Ακασαμενός is mentioned as Akasemenos and as a son of Poseidon according to a source (page 373) that attests to this....
I believe the correct spelling is with the epsilon, so that would be Akesamenos - at least Iliad 21.142 and Stephanus of Byzantium both have it with the epsilon. I was able to read Kourtidis book, sadly he doesn't provide any source for that part so it's hard to say in what ancient source he might have read it. Other books more focused on mythology ( ) only ever mention the Iliad and Stephanus of Byzantium.
