Hello. I see you have uploaded a very impressive range of numismatic data! I flagged a discussion on the axe d'alignement de la monnaie(P8751) because I don't think clock hours is actually a valid WD quantity, so I just wanted to see if you had any thoughts.

I was also wondering if you might have any suggestions about a good way to model coin minting. For example, if a coin was produced in the Roman empire in the reign of Augustus, what would be a good way to describe this in Wikidata? Some museum catalogues just say "ruler: Augustus" but we were wondering how that might be modelled in Wikidata.

@Valeriummaximum thank you for your interest. I use commanditaire (P88) to mention the issuer (émetteur in french). I know that it is not quite right. Maybe it would be worthwhile to create a new property for it.

thank you for the suggestion! We were a little worried about this property because the emperor himself might not be the actual commissioner, it seems like such a difficult archival description to properly cover.

Hi @Valeriummaximum I finally found the property central bank/issuer to express the name of the commissioner. The label in French limited it to banks but I changed it to expand the definition. Now I will have to change all the P88 on the items I have created.

On your side, did you find a way to mention the ruler ? Maybe the participants of the Wikidata:WikiProject Numismatics could help ?
