Countries and Description[edit]

@MIGORMCZ: The concept described in the articles is not limited to the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Describing those places as a „place from where the railway operation is controlled“ is very vague and misleading.--PhiH (talk) 15:05, 17 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@PhiH: Hello, the term Dopravna was introduced in Czechoslovak legislation and then adopted by Czech and Slovak legislation. This is a term that is in the legislation of only these two states and, for example, English does not have a translation for this term. --MIGORMCZ (talk) 15:46, 17 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I am not entirely sure about an English term but at least in Germany there are "Zugfolgestellen" which are exactly the same.--PhiH (talk) 15:53, 17 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@PhiH: I founded this item to separate the Czech term Dopravna from operatin point, which includes many more elements. It is possible that the Zugfolgestelle in Germany and Austria is identical to Dopravna in Czechia and Slovakia. Before extending this item to countries other than the Czechia and Slovakia, I would like to be able to read the exact definition of the Zugfolgestelle in English. --MIGORMCZ (talk) 16:09, 17 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Zugfolgestelle is a German term, there is no English definition. Here (p. 134) is the official definition:
Zugfolgestellen begrenzen Zugfolgeabschnitte und regeln die Folge der Züge auf der freien Strecke.
