@Cephas: Are you sure this is someone different from Robert Hurley (Q3435434)? According to NKCR ([1]), the translator is also a theologian :) --Vojtěch Dostál (talk) 15:49, 14 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Vojtěch Dostál:, I noticed that for NKCR, it is the same person. 1) According to my experience, which is getting quite extensive in doing this work, errors are not uncommon in that kind of systems that are often machine (and not human) driven. 2) It doesn't make sense that a person translate in a particular field (in this case philosophy) but is a specialist in another field (in this case theology). Following a precautionary principle, I think if we want to consider these two as the same person, we need more than the statement of NKCR. I searched but couldn't find any valuable source to support it. This is my opinion though, I will not oppose if someone feel safe enough and take the lead to merge them. --Cephas (talk) 17:38, 14 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
You must be right @Cephas:; his supposed translation activity, or interest in Foucault and Deleuze, are not stated at his university website, which is suspicious. Let's suppose for the time being that these are indeed two people.--Vojtěch Dostál (talk) 07:20, 15 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
