non-existence entity subclass-of abstract object[edit]

Seems untrue. Entity dually refers to two things: 1) the thing, 2) a representation of the thing. We often say that a certain thing does not exist but what we mean is that we have created a representation for a thing, possibly believing it represents something, but it turned out it does not represent anything, viz there is no thing that corresponds to the representation. We can say things like the person in the image does not exist, and what it means is that the phrase "the person in the image" has a meaning but does not refer to anything. --Dan Polansky (talk) 07:51, 30 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
