@Veverve: - Property:P407 is a bit of a mess, yes, but it does seem to explicitly allow for multiple values. The Latin versions of this work are the most complete and famous; they are a fairly core part of our knowledge of the work, since the original Greek is fragmentary. As a note, we have works where the original language is entirely lost - Q161985 was written in Hebrew (well, according to 99% of scholars), but the Hebrew is totally lost. The oldest versions we actually have are in Greek. In a clearer case like that, I think including both Hebrew & Greek is clearly correct (and if we had to restrict it to just one language, it'd be the non-original Greek, not Hebrew, since that's the version we Actually Have). In this case, we have a bit of the original Greek, but we have much more Latin. So I don't think having Latin is wrong. That said, maybe this issue is wider than just this one item - happy to bring this up at the property talk page too if you think it'd help, or if there should be more explicit documentation on how to use the language property. - If the property has no clear instruction for its use, I do not know what I should argue. There is no property for the original language of a work or a 'Language in which the work is best known', so I guess Property:P407 (purposefully?) fills those roles and that it is what the vague definition "language associated with this creative work" means.
