The English Wikipedia article told nothing at all about the admission to the market, what this series of pages seems to be about. The English article dealt with prescription law around the world - an entirely different topic! S019161 (talk) 17:16, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@S019161: From the introduction of the English article: "In most jurisdictions, therapeutic goods must be registered before they are allowed to be marketed." Isn't that about the admission to the market? Petr Matas 17:56, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Petr Matas: Well, that's one single sentence. Pretty generic. The rest of the article is about regulation of prescription only. Even the title "Regulation of therapeutic goods" doesn't say much about market admission. On the other hand if you would search for more information about prescription in other languages after reading the English article, you wouldn't find any, e.g. in the German article that is about market entry only. Either way round, the crosswiki needs to be fixed in a way. Just my two cents. Kind regards, S019161 (talk) 18:06, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@S019161: Maybe the information is only missing from the article and should be added instead. Or do you know another item, where you would move any of these articles? Petr Matas 18:20, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Petr Matas: I guess, I changed my view due to your answer, you seem to be right. But anyhow, the German article and the English one do not match at all. Maybe the German one has to be replaced with the German article about drug law as there seems to be no real English equivalent for an article about market admission only. Any thoughts about that? @S019161: I don't speak any of the relevant languages, but how about removing de:Arzneimittelzulassung and merging regulation of therapeutic goods (Q573538) with pharmaceutical law (Q718717)? Petr Matas 18:42, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Petr Matas: sounds good! :) I'm not really good in using this wiki's software. Could you do that? Thank you for the good discussion! S019161 (talk) 18:57, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@S019161: ✓ Done, I am glad that you did not give it up. Your input was indispensable. You may also wish to look at Help:Merge. Petr Matas 22:14, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
