[edit]Note that Blue Ribbon Books was a reprint company and often did not include the print date in their books. Instead, they just listed the copyright of the original publisher—in this case, "Copyright 1912 by Dodd, Mead and Company". Since Blue Ribbon Books wasn't established until 1930, we know that that is the earliest possible date for this particular edition/printing. It also seems that Dodd, Mead and Company likely only reprinted books through Blue Ribbon Books until 1933 or 1934. Blue Ribbon Books died out entirely as an imprint in 1949.
