Revert of death date[edit]

@Mastrocom Hello, why did you revert a referenced death-date statement? Thanks, Vojtěch Dostál (talk) 12:47, 18 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Vojtěch Dostál I searched around and I found he seems to be alive, the one who died in 2017 was an engineer with the same name --Mastrocom (talk) 12:52, 18 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Mastrocom OK, let's say he is alive. However, the statement will get readded pretty soon, because it is in the source database. It would be better if you could deprecate false referenced statements instead of removing them. That is the gold standard on Wikidata. See Help:Ranks Can you please do that? @Vojtěch Dostál done, thank you for the explanation --Mastrocom (talk) 17:30, 18 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Mastrocom Thank you for understanding. I fixed your deprecation (you need to click on that little "down" arrow and preferably also add reason for deprecation. Cheers, Vojtěch Dostál (talk) 20:00, 18 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
