Year of birth?[edit]
If he was born in 1415 it means that he was a captain of a research-vessel at the age of 20 (and then disappeared)! Could it be that Afonso Gonçalves de Antona Baldaya was born circa 1415 but is not the same person as the explorer Afonso Gonçalves Baldaya? To me, the year of birth doesn't make sense. - According to this page on Geneanet Afonso Gonçalves de Antona Baldaya married in 1420 - if he was born in 1415 at the age of five! According to this page at Genearc he was born in 1405 in Almeida, not Porto! Where are the reliable sources for the claims made on Wikidata? Episcophagus (talk) 15:00, 21 October 2023 (UTC)
