specific currencies instance or subclass of pound?[edit]
There are many currencies which are subclasses of pound (Q339180): See Wikidata Graph Builder
For example pound sterling (Q25224) subclass of pound, Syrian pound (Q240468) subclass of pound.
Yet, there are also many currencies which are instances of pound (Q339180): See Wikidata Graph Builder
For example New Hampshire pound (Q7008374) instance of pound, Nigerian pound (Q1485655) instance of pound.
This inconsistency should be resolved. But in which direction? Should these currencies be instances or subclasses of pound?

- I want to say that all of them should be but . But I have no solid ground arguments yet. --Infovarius (talk) 11:06, 25 March 2019 (UTC)
- I agree. My argument for this is that a single coin of pound sterling is an instance of pound sterling and also an instance of pound. Yet, this coin is not a currency itself. --Eulenspiegel1 (talk) 13:58, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
