Picture[edit]

Hi BeatrixBelibaste: it seems that you are mostly the one who cares about this item. After I created an own item for the folk character and left this one to represent the real person I'm a bit sceptical about the picture that represents the real person. On the other hand it is certainly highly improbable to find a good picture of a 18th century farmer. The only one I found on commons where she is not depicted hanged, in a cage or committing any crime is the one here: Illustration by Edmond-Joseph Massicotte for the short story "Une relique". But this is still an illustration from a short story which, I guess, is also rather an account of the legend (and it is captioned). There are also some depicts (P180)/depicted by (P1299) statements where I would rather say that they represent the folk character (but yes, it is difficult to draw the line).

I will leave it up to you, how to deal with it (leave the picture, remove the picture, exchange the picture) - I just wanted to express my doubt :) - Valentina.Anitnelav (talk) 10:15, 1 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
