Can't help but wonder why this item, and Swedish Wikipedia article exists. It's making things messy. As it stands Cambridgeshire is in Cambridgeshire, which is nonsensical. Danrok (talk) 21:11, 23 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Danrok: The point is that there are two different areas, with eg different identifier codes to access different statistics.
So it's useful to distinguish the area that is currently administered by Cambridgeshire county council (now that Peterborough is a separate unitary authority that runs itself) from the larger area that was & is traditionally Cambridgeshire; which most historical information will relate to; and which is still used for some ceremonial purposes.
