This record is far from accurate. Elizabeth Southerns was more accurately known as Elizabeth Southern. She died in custody at Lancaster Castle while awaiting trial for being a witch. She was not hung as this record indicates, nor was she assigned capital punishment as she never made it to trial. Additionally, church records put her at between 71 and 72 not 80.
