More than 5 Harpies
[edit]@Infovarius: Can you provide a source indicating than the Harpies were more than 3 ? Because according to historical sources, I never saw a document indicating more than 3 harpies. Just have a look at the table available in en:WP to see the different names and their possible writing. Snipre (talk) 10:06, 8 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Snipre: I see at least: Aello (Q380832), Acholoë (Q21547793), Aellopoda (Q3605939), Celaeno (Q753903), Podarge (Q2723576), Ocypete (Q3141720). Which one is in doubt? --Infovarius (talk) 13:10, 10 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Infovarius: Do you have a look at the items ?
- Aellopoda (Q3605939) said to be the same as Aello (Q380832)
- Celaeno (Q753903) said to be the same as Podarge (Q2723576)
- Instead of using WD as reference please have a look at the references in the WP:en page: the table collecting the names of the Harpies from the literature never shows more than 3 names. Snipre (talk) 22:52, 16 January 2018 (UTC)
- According to encyclopedy "Древний мир. Энциклопедический словарь в 2-х томах. — М.: Центрполиграф. В. Д. Гладкий. 1998." their number is from 2 to 5. --Infovarius (talk) 14:00, 2 February 2018 (UTC)
