Do not confuse this with the SPICE remote-display system!
[edit]Several of the statements for this item were incorrect for the SPICE electronic circuit simulator; whoever added them (and kept re-adding them after they were repeatedly removed by several different users) had confused it with the unrelated SPICE remote-display system. The latter is written in C++ and has a source-code repository on freedesktop.org, as well as a Gentoo package under app-emulation/spice. These have no connection to Berkeley's SPICE electronics software, which was only written in Fortran and C, and long predates online source-code repositories (though source archives do exist). --Colin Douglas Howell (talk) 00:41, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
- Same thing, I've removed incorrect package information. Fedora, Arch spice packages, and Gentoo app-emulation/spice are unrelated. Gentoo's sci-electronics/spice is the thing though.
