- @Kclisp: currently for some reason serveral services like Gmail (Q9334) indeed appear to be set as instances of this class. However it seem rather these should be set as instances of email hosting service (Q5368818). en:Mailbox provider article attached to this item has somewhat vague defintion but among else it describes e.g. companies and unversities as mailbox providers, de:E-Mail-Anbieter article defines its subject explicitly as organization (company – Unternehmen). 2001:7D0:81DB:1480:9D0E:910B:EA37:D56A 11:31, 29 March 2024 (UTC)
- Interesting, the English page also describes individuals as mailbox providers, and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mailbox_provider#Free_mail_providers lists Gmail (Q9334) and other services as providers too. email hosting service (Q5368818) also makes sense though.
