Comics and literature
[edit]Infovarius, I made the change due to a reclassification of comics (Q1004) - it's no longer regarded as a form of literature, but of art (see its talk page). As literary characters are from literature and comics are not considered literature, it's wrong in my opinion to call all comic characters literary characters across the board (there may be exceptions). Any objections? - Valentina.Anitnelav (talk) 16:17, 12 September 2017 (UTC)
- Hm, may be. Even if there are many replics it isn't literature? --Infovarius (talk) 19:05, 13 September 2017 (UTC)
- This judgement doesn't seem to derive directly from the amount of text, but rather the dependence of the storytelling on pictures. But anyway there can still be intersections of comics and literature or classes of comics being a literary genre (this applies to graphic novel (Q725377), right now). - Valentina.Anitnelav (talk) 09:49, 14 September 2017 (UTC)
