Question Hi, I would like to contribute to the listings of recent US administrations, and I was wondering if this was the appropriate pattern. I have a few questions: 1. There is a related page: Biden administration cabinet members is that necessary - or redundant? 2. I was expecting to query on humans who were "members of" the administration: Query of Obama cabinet but that didn't return any results 3. I like that on this page all the cabinet members are listed but was surprised to see the relationship as "has part or parts" is this a pattern I should extend to the other cabinets? --Korimako (talk) 16:47, 6 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Korimako: 1. Q102268372 (Category:Biden administration cabinet members) is not redundant. It refers to a Wikimedia category, different from the category's topic. 2. Your query finds items that have statement "member of (P463): Cabinet of Barack Obama (Q4206667)". The correct way is to find items that have statement "position held (P39): x" with qualifier "cabient (P5054): Cabinet of Barack Obama (Q4206667)" (like this query). And the current results are limited due to incomplete data on Wikidata. 3. Yes, you can add "has part(s)" (P527) to a cabinet item. But that may make a cabinet item too long. It might be better to add qualifier "cabient (P5054)" to "position held (P39)" on each cabinet member's item (like this). Best regards.--Neo-Jay (talk) 12:27, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
