    APPREHENSIONS SOUGHT ... 18.— Dumfries (County).— For stealing, 10th and 15th ult., respectively, an "Elswick" bicycle [description omitted]; an "Ariel" roadster bicycle [description omitted] — JAMES FRANCIS BAKER, age about 30, height 5 ft. 8 or 9 ins., complexion sallow, hair (thick and long) black, 2 front upper teeth stopped with gold, Scotch accent; dress, light grey shooting jacket, dark grey trousers, soft felt hat, shoes. Supposed a native of Musgrave, Westmorland. Accompanied by his wife (not wanted), medium height and build, complexion fresh, hair brown; dress, fawn-colour costume, straw hat with blue ribbon. Warrant issued. Not to be arrested out of the United Kingdom. Information to the Chief Constable, Dumfries. (English)
