Humawak ng matataas na katungkulan sa pamahalaan, kabilang ang pagiging Attorney General, 1919; auxiliary judge, CFI–Jolo, Sulu, 1929; district judge, CFI–Nueva Ecija, 1933; presiding judge CFI–3rd Branch Manila, 1936; naging Katulong na Mahistrado ng Hukuman ng Paghahabol at Kataas-taasang Hukuman ng Pilipinas, 1946; Kalihim ng Kagawaran ng Katarungan, 1948; muling naglingkod sa Korte Suprema bilang Katulong na Mahistrado, 1948–1964. Pangulo, Asociacion de los Veteranos de la Revoluccion, 1962–1986.
