In 2009 I bit the bullet and started a part-time PhD in that area with Tim Baldwin at the University of Melbourne. It turned out to be a bit of an epic, partly because of the loss of a couple of years dealing with prostate cancer. I finally submitted my thesis at the end of 2017. (English)
